Beach Days

     It's been too long like usual, but life has been busy. Lots of time outdoors, weekends at the beach, and playing in water. We've been up to Long Beach Indiana twice this year already and it has been bittersweet. It's my husbands grandparent's house and they are nice enough to let us spend lots of time up there, but after his grandma passing not too long ago they have decided to sell it so this will be our last year there and we are trying to live it up:)

     I just wanted to say thanks to all my awesome followers, I love reading your comments and hearing everyone's sweet words, made me feel so much better. It brightens my day to read comments from you guys. I actually do feel better, and while my house is still not perfect it is in better condition then when we got home. Most things are put away and I got through a few piles of laundry, why is it never ending as soon as one basket is folded and put away, there is already over flowing hampers in every room.
    We had a great weekend in Indiana, went apple picking and to the zoo there. For the most part though we just hung out and relaxed, which was much needed. I got to nap two days in a row and spend time with my favorite man and boys in the world. With my husband's busy schedule we usually don't get too many days in a row to just hang out, so I love when we are able to. Here's some pictures as promised unfortunately we left our camera in the car at the apple orchard, so we don't have too many from there.

On a side note I watched the end of that new show X factor today and loved the performance by Chris Renee and might just watch it to see him. He was awesome, if you missed it you should try to watch it online.

Back Home

     We got back today at 12, just in time to watch the Bears game. They lost:( Now after a weekend of fun and eating pretty much whatever I wanted I need to make sure to get back on track tomorrow, with eating and working out. I'll post some pictures soon. I think I may have lost a couple followers as well, one minute it will say I have 361, then I refresh the page and it says 357. I don't know if blogger is just acting goofy or if I lost someone. It makes me sad if I did, if so I wish I knew why. Oh well, I wanted to post more today, but for some reason I've just been a crab since we got home not exactly then but soon after, so tomorrow it is.

    So we've had a great trip so far. Dinner last night at Redamak's anyone in New Buffalo, MI area must try it they have great burgers and we make a trip there every time we're here. Then today we went to the zoo and then came home and the whole family took a nap. You gotta love when everyone sleeps at the same time. Tomorrow we will be off picking apples and have apple donuts at the apple fest, which I'm super excited about.

Off to Long Beach, Indiana

    So, hopefully by the time you read this we will be on our way to Indiana for the weekend. We're leaving once Liam gets out of school, so hopefully he will nap in the car. Actually I hope all of them do, but since Liam has started school he hasn't been napping and has been quite the crab. I may not be posting as much,  but I will have the computer (as long as we remember the cord this time) so when I have time I will post some pictures. Hope everyone else has a great weekend, I'm glad ours is starting a day early:)

We're Back

     We got home late Saturday and although it was nice to get away, I couldn't wait to come home to see all my little guys.  Yesterday we all just hung out, took a long nap (gotta love family naps), and watched a movie.  It was nice to relax yesterday since I got about 4 hours of sleep the night before, but now it's back to reality and I feel like I have a lot of catching up to do.  So I just want to say thanks to all my new followers and I am working on checking out all your blogs and following you back.  I also want to give a big thanks to all my guest bloggers who wrote such wonderful posts while I was away.  I'm hoping to post a review and giveaway tonight or tomorrow morning, so stay tuned...

And we're off...

     My husband and I are leaving tomorrow afternoon and going away for a couple of days for some much needed alone time.  I know with my first I never would have left him at 4 months, but now I am a bit more relaxed and with my husband's school and work schedule we are very limited when we can do things.Plus then we have to consider when grandparents can watch them.  So it was either now or wait till next summer, so we decided to go now.  I know I'll miss all my little guys, but I will come home a better more relaxed mommy.  While I am gone I have some great gals posting for me, so be sure to stop by and check them out.  We're coming back very early Sunday, but I probably won't be back on till Monday since I plan on spending the day with my little ones on Sunday.  Coming up I'm going to start having some exciting reviews and giveaways that I can't wait to share with you guys.

Long Beach, Indiana

My husband's grandparents have a house in Long Beach Indiana right off the beach, which they are nice enough to let us use. So we spent the past weekend there and had some much needed family time.  With my husband's busy schedule of school and work it's nice to be able to just relax and spend time together.  Most of our time was spent at the beach, grilling, and just hanging out.  We also went blueberry picking, which all the kids loved especially eating them:), but it was super hot so we only lasted a short time. I love to go fruit and vegetable picking it seems to make the kids enjoy fruit even more plus it's delicious. We had lunch at our favorite spot Redamak's, anyone visiting that area should definitely eat there, awesome burgers.  On our last day we went to the spray park and Liam loved it, Declan had more fun just wandering around, it's so funny he is the complete opposite of Liam at that age. We all had lots of fun, but of course time went by too fast.  Hopefully we will be able to go one more time before it gets too cold out.  On a side note I can't believe Liam (my oldest) starts real preschool August 8th he went to a class a couple days a week last year but now he'll be going to real school and it's only a few weeks away. That's why I cherish being able to spend time together because it goes by so fast and I know before you know it my youngest will be in school.  Thanks to all my new followers I've been following you back still having problems with comments someone gave me a suggestion and I need to try it to see if it will let me finally leave comments for people.
