Newman's Own Organics was nice enough to send me lots of delicious snacks to try. I was so excited to open the box, and couldn't believe how many snacks they gave us to sample. There were so many things to choose from it was hard to decide what to try first.
So here's what it included:
Licorice-Mango, Strawberry, Raspberry,& Black
Pretzels
Fig Newman's
Sandwich Cookies- Peanut Butter, Ginger,& Mint
Mints-Peppermint, Ginger, Spearmint, &Cinnamon
Cookies-chocolate chip, double chocolate, orange chocolate chip
Chocolates filled with caramel, peanut butter, & mint
My kids were also super excited and it was hard to even get a picture because they wanted to eat everything. Liam decided we should try the licorice first and we started with the mango, which I have never tried before they were very good. My favorite licorice though was the strawberry it was soft, flavorful, and delicious. It was probably one of the best licorices I've ever had, and I really like licorice. Plus it's great to know they are organic and not filled with any chemicals or artificial flavors.
Then we tried the Fig Newman's and those were a big hit as well. They were better then any Fig Newton or generic brand you will see at the store. They were very fresh and the fruit filling was sweet and tasted like jam.
The sandwich cookies were good too, my favorite were the mint ones. Chocolate and mint are just the best combination. My kids really liked the chocolate chip cookies, they are the perfect size for little ones or if you just want a small treat.
The chocolate cups are rich and everything you want a good chocolate cup to be. You may have guessed my favorite was the mint one, but you would be wrong those were really good, but the caramel cups were even better. Another great thing to pair with chocolate. I guess pretty much anything and chocolate goes well together but mint and caramel are my favorites.
The mints were great as well. I have to say overall I was very pleased with all Newman's Own Organics products and will be purchasing them in the future. The only items that weren't my favorite were the ginger flavored items, but that's not their fault I just don't really care for ginger. I let some friends try them and they said they were delicious, which I'm sure they were if you like ginger.
I would definitely recommend these for any families or people looking for healthy snacks. You can visit their website here to see the snacks they offer and where to buy or on Facebook. One lucky winner will get four of my favorite treats, which were the strawberry licorice, pretzels, fig Newman's and the Newman spearmints.

Thirsties Cloth Diaper Review and Giveaway
I was so happy to have the chance to review Thirsties cloth diapers. Just to have you know I normally use disposable. I have always wanted to try cloth, but have been scared to make the investment and then end up not using them because the initial investment can be expensive. So this was my perfect opportunity to try them out.
Once I received the diaper I was excited because it was super cute. They sent me the duo diaper which is a waterproof diaper with an absorbent insert inside. You can request a catalog of their diapers here to see all they have to offer, there are lots of cute ones. I was a little nervous to try it though especially for the poop part because that really is my only fear with cloth diapers. I wasn't sure who I was going to try it on first, but I decided to use it with Declan, my 18 month old. He seemed to not notice the difference when I put it on him, which is good because kids can be particular at that age. It was an added bonus that he looked adorable in them too. I put it on him right before bed and let him wear it overnight. He woke up with no leaks and the diaper was still pretty heavy from overnight. He also wore it during the day and it fit great and I never had any leakage problems. He did poop once in it and luckily it wasn't a mushy one and I was able to just dump it in the toilet. That's what I fear is cleaning a mushy one and that is probably part of the reason I tried it on him first and not my youngest. Any cloth diapering mommas, I'd love to hear how you do it. I see they have a sprayer you can use to clean them now, but I'm not sure if most people use that or not.
Now, I put the one I have on Declan almost every night for bedtime, and we haven't had any problems. It has actually worked out better because now he likes to take off his diaper in his crib and the cloth one is harder to get off. I've washed it at least ten times and it is still in perfect shape and has no odor to it. Washing is also very simple you just throw it in the wash and the insert comes out in the wash then once it is dried you just put it back in. I am definitely thinking of converting now considering how easy it was to use, but still a little scared. I figure with a 7 month old and an 18 month old in the long run it would still be worth the investment.
Also one of the things I love about Thirsties diapers is they are all made with USA materials and made by mostly women and moms who work from home. You can read more about them here. Overall I was very pleased with Thirsties cloth diaper, and may be converting to cloth soon. Make sure to stop by their website http://www.thirstiesbaby.com/ and see all the great products they offer.
Here's a couple of cute diapers they offer
Thirsties is nice enough to offer one lucky winner a duo diaper! Make sure to enter even if you have never tried cloth, because I bet you will love them just like me.

StinkyKids Book Review and T-Shirt Giveaway
The people over at Stinky Kids sent me the book Stinky Kids and the Runaway Scissors by Britt Menzies. Liam thought the title alone was hilarious and laughed every time he said Stinky Kids. There are a total of 10 Stinky Kids and the book provides a description of each child and their leader of good quality which is the main message of the book.
Stinky Kids and the Runaway Scissors is about Britt who gets gum stuck in her hair and then goes on a playdate over at Julie's house. While at Julie's she tells her friends about the gum stuck in her hair and they all try to come up with different ways to get it out, but none of them work. Finally Max gets out some scissors and offers to cut Britt's hair and she says yes. He cuts it and then she looks like a porcupine, which she thinks is funny, but is scared to tell her mom what they did when she comes to pick her up. Brit tells her mom and they talk about if not telling her mom about the gum and cutting her hair was a good choice. Then Britt's mom takes her to a salon to get her hair fixed and before bed her dad talks to her about the new rule with scissors. In the end she remembers she has some gum in her nightstand, but asks the reader what you think she decides.
This book has a good message for kids, while being fun at the same time. The Stinky Kids main message is to be a leader of good and that comes through in this book. I like how it talks about choices and Britt's parents discuss if she made the right choice or not and what she should do next time. At the end of the book it also has some questions you can ask your child along with some takeaway messages. Liam really enjoyed this book and I liked the message. After the story we discussed it and how if you have a problem you should tell your mom or dad. I think young children will enjoy this book, and parents will like the message and the good qualities each StinkyKid has. If you would like to purchase a StinkyKids book or doll you can go to their website at www.stinkykids.com or you can purchase them on Amazon. One lucky winner will receive a free StinkyKids t-shirt.

Jamba Juice All Natural Make at Home Smoothie Review and Giveaway
I love Jamba Juice, their smoothies are so good. They have come out with a line that you can make at home and were nice enough to send my some samples to review. They sent me one bag of Strawberries Wild and their newest flavor, Caribbean Passion. They are very simple to make all you need to do is dump the bag into the blender and add 8oz of apple juice and blend. It makes two 8oz smoothies. Here's what comes in the bag.
Liam wanted to try the Strawberries Wild first, which is strawberries, bananas, and yogurt. I loved the flavor it was really good and like I said before I think smoothies are a great way to get in some fruit or veggies. Using Jamba Juice at home kits just makes it easier. Next we tried the Caribbean Passion which contains mangos, strawberries, peaches, and yogurt. We also loved these. Both smoothies tasted very similar to the ones you will find at Jamba Juice. Plus they contain all natural ingredients, so you can feel good about drinking these and they are packed with vitamin C. These smoothies are great for breakfast or a healthy after school snack. The only thing I would like to try next time I make them is adding 4oz of apple juice and 4oz of water, so you are not adding as much sugar to them because without the juice they do not contain much sugar.
Overall I was very pleased with this product. If you are a fan of Jamba Juice or smoothies in general I would recommend giving them a try. You can look at their website here to see all the flavors they offer and where to buy them.
One lucky winner will receive 5 coupons for free Jamba Juice All Natural Smoothie kits. Be sure to enter these are delicious. Good luck!

Ecolips Review and Giveaway
Eco Lips was nice enough to let me review their lip balms. Their lip balms are made with all natural and organic ingredients, so you can feel good about using them, which is great because I always worry about when I kiss my kids I don't want to get chemicals all over them and I know they are not good for me either. I think it is always important to be aware of what we put on our body and when using Eco Lips balms you know you are putting something all natural on your lips. They have a huge selection of lip balms and I was able to choose 3, it was a hard choice, but I finally decided.

The first I chose was the tinted sugar plum lip balm and I just have to say that this is my favorite. I am not a huge lipstick girl and love glosses. This gives a touch of color and just the right amount of moisture. I've been keeping this one in my purse to have at all times, since I like it so much.

I picked the kiwi strawberry because I love the scent and when I got it, it does smell delicious, nice and fruity. My kids loved this one two, although I had to watch Declan with it because he kept trying to eat it. It is 100% edible though, since it's all natural so if your child or pet accidentally does eat it you don't have to worry.

Last I picked the medicinal because in winter my lips tend to get pretty chapped and I wanted to try this. It works really well and I think it will be perfect for winter when you get dry or cracked lips, plus it also aids in healing cold sores.

They also sent me their premium gold lip balm along with a clip. This balm is made with jojoba oil and high in vitamin E and certified organic. This is a great everyday balm to keep your lips nice and moist. At first I wasn't sure why I would need a clip for my lip balm, but I ended up loving it since I tend to loose lip balms or have to dig through my purse to find one. I clipped this one to my diaper bag, so it's always handy.
I would highly recommend Eco Lips balms and you can check out and purchase their wide variety of balms online at www.ecolips.com They offer everything from tinted balms, ones for kids, SPF, medicine, and many more. One lucky winner will win an Eco Lips premium gold balm along with an Eco clip!
