I was lucky enough to have the chance to review a lunette cup. Now if you don't know what one is you can go look here, but basically it is a reusable silicone menstrual cup. I have been wanting to try one for a while now and during my last cycle I did for the first time. I can tell you one thing I won't be going back to tampons or pads, that's for sure.
I tried the lunette cup as soon as my first cycle came. I was a bit nervous since at times my cycle can be heavy, so I was hoping this would be able to do the job since I usually always wear a tampon and a pad. I was impressed I was able to only wear the lunette cup with no leakage issue. On my heavier days I did have to empty it more often, but I love not having to wear a pad and a tampon. To insert it is easy all you need to do is fold in half and insert as you would a tampon and then you are done. It fits very comfortably and at times I forget I even have it in. Plus you can wear it up to 12 hours before removing and cleaning the cup. I have used this cup through two cycles now and I am impressed with how well it works and how comfortable it is. I even wore it to the beach without any issues!
I highly recommend giving the Lunette cup a try. There are many reasons to try it, here's just a few. You will be saving money, it's better for the environment, and more comfortable then any pad or tampon I have worn. Trust me it is worth a try, you won't be disappointed. Stop here to order one today.

Newman's Own Organics Review and Giveaway
Newman's Own Organics was nice enough to send me lots of delicious snacks to try. I was so excited to open the box, and couldn't believe how many snacks they gave us to sample. There were so many things to choose from it was hard to decide what to try first.
So here's what it included:
Licorice-Mango, Strawberry, Raspberry,& Black
Pretzels
Fig Newman's
Sandwich Cookies- Peanut Butter, Ginger,& Mint
Mints-Peppermint, Ginger, Spearmint, &Cinnamon
Cookies-chocolate chip, double chocolate, orange chocolate chip
Chocolates filled with caramel, peanut butter, & mint
My kids were also super excited and it was hard to even get a picture because they wanted to eat everything. Liam decided we should try the licorice first and we started with the mango, which I have never tried before they were very good. My favorite licorice though was the strawberry it was soft, flavorful, and delicious. It was probably one of the best licorices I've ever had, and I really like licorice. Plus it's great to know they are organic and not filled with any chemicals or artificial flavors.
Then we tried the Fig Newman's and those were a big hit as well. They were better then any Fig Newton or generic brand you will see at the store. They were very fresh and the fruit filling was sweet and tasted like jam.
The sandwich cookies were good too, my favorite were the mint ones. Chocolate and mint are just the best combination. My kids really liked the chocolate chip cookies, they are the perfect size for little ones or if you just want a small treat.
The chocolate cups are rich and everything you want a good chocolate cup to be. You may have guessed my favorite was the mint one, but you would be wrong those were really good, but the caramel cups were even better. Another great thing to pair with chocolate. I guess pretty much anything and chocolate goes well together but mint and caramel are my favorites.
The mints were great as well. I have to say overall I was very pleased with all Newman's Own Organics products and will be purchasing them in the future. The only items that weren't my favorite were the ginger flavored items, but that's not their fault I just don't really care for ginger. I let some friends try them and they said they were delicious, which I'm sure they were if you like ginger.
I would definitely recommend these for any families or people looking for healthy snacks. You can visit their website here to see the snacks they offer and where to buy or on Facebook. One lucky winner will get four of my favorite treats, which were the strawberry licorice, pretzels, fig Newman's and the Newman spearmints.

Dinner Is Ready 30 meals in one day Book Review
Not too long ago I purchased a groupon to Dream Dinners. Basically it's a place where you go to prepare meals for your family and freeze them to use when you want. This way all you need to do is thaw the meal and cook, all the prep work is done already. I loved this idea, especially since most nights I am home alone with the kids and it's hard to prepare healthy meals with 3 kids who want my attention. Unfortunately though Dream Dinners is not in our budget to do every month and that is when I discovered this book, Dinner Is Ready and I was very excited to try it.
Dinner Is Ready is a complete guide to help you make 30 meals to freeze for your family in just one day. You can check out there website here for more information or sample recipes. I will tell you I was a little intimidated at first since I was going to be doing this all on my own, but once I looked through the book I felt better since it breaks things down in simple steps and you don't even have to make 30 meals if you think that is too much at first you can start with 5 or 10, whatever you feel comfortable with. The first couple chapters prepare you for what you will need and some tips before you even start. It tells you what utensils and items you should have ready to use as well as tips for what recipes to choose. After reading through the first few chapters I looked through the recipes. There are lots of delicious recipes and different categories to choose from: Slow cooker, oven, stove top, and assemble recipes. All the recipes are very easy to put together and many ingredients overlap, which is nice, especially for your budget.
After tasting one of the recipes I was definitely sold on this idea. They were easy to make and delicious, plus there are lots of them try. I recommend this book to anyone looking to make dinner time a little easier. You can also buy software that goes along with the book, which I highly recommend it makes the whole process that much easier plus you can add your own recipes to it if you want . All you need to do to use the software is select your recipes, then it will make a shopping list with all the ingredients you need for them. I cannot tell you how much I loved this software it makes things so easy for you. All you need to do after you have the shopping list is check your house for items you may already have then head to the store to buy the rest. Plus this book is great for your budget since most of the recipes are fairly inexpensive, you can buy in bulk which saves money, and it helps you not to eat out as much since you always have easy meals on hand when you need them. If you would like to purchase Dinner Is Ready or any of their other products you can go here or here. I would recommend giving Dinner Is Ready a try it will make your life much easier especially on those hectic night where the kids are crabby, you are working late, or you are running around all day. I love having easy recipes on hand that only take a few steps to prepare, anything that makes my life easier and saves time is a winner in my book.
*Disclaimer- Dinner Is Ready provided me with this book and software to review, in no way did this alter my opinion of this product. Everything written is my own opinion and 100% honest.*
